ABSTRACT

Basic Life Support (BLS) or in Indonesian known as Basic Life Support (BHD) is an effort made to maintain life when a patient or victim experiences a life-threatening condition. Abroad BLS/BHD has actually been taught a lot to ordinary people or special lay people, but it seems that this is still very rarely known by the people of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the influence of the socialization of the Basic Life Support Guideline 2020 in handling daily emergencies during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Sidoarjo BPBD Rapid Response Unit team. This research method is a quasi-experimental design. The experimental design used in this study used a one group pre and posttest design. The data collection technique in this study was a test in the form of questions. The sample in this study was taken by simple random sampling technique. The data collection method uses primary data, by providing online learning through google classroom, then looking at student learning outcomes. Data analysis used statistical test T-Test with=0.05. Basic Life Support can run well if all elements are carried out thoroughly, therefore it is necessary to have clear roles, duties and responsibilities from the management to support success in handling daily emergencies during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Rapid Response Unit team. © 2023 Author(s).

ABSTRACT

"Introduction: School-age children are a critical age group because they are vulnerable to health problems that usually arise related to clean and healthy living behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental support and clean and healthy living behavior as an effort to prevent covid-19 in students of SDN 1 Panglungan Wonosalam Jombang. Methods: Analytical research design with ""cross sectional"" approach. The population was 40 students from class V and VI. A sample of 37 students was taken using the Cluster Sampling technique. The instrument used a parental support questionnaire and clean and healthy living behavior. Data analysis used Spearmen Rank correlation statistical test with a significant level of = 0.05. Results: The results of the study were obtained from 37 respondents, almost entirely (81.1%) had a good level of support and most (62.2%) had a clean and healthy lifestyle as a good covid 19 prevention effort. Spearman rank correlation test analysis obtained p value of 0.01 <0.05, then h0 is rejected and h1 is accepted. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between parental support and clean and healthy living behavior as an effort to prevent covid-19 in students of SDN Panglungan 1 Wonosalam Jombang. The role of nurses can provide nursing care in the form of education for children and parents, so that children are able to carry out clean and healthy living behaviors as an effort to prevent Covid-19"

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The ability of pregnant women to detect early-risk pregnancies is still low, which is one of the causes of complications that can endanger the welfare of the mother and fetus. This research analyzed the effectiveness of the Self Care Model in Midwifery Care through an Android Application on the Ability of Pregnant Women to Early Detection of Risky Pregnancy During the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: The data of this study of pregnant women who conducted examinations at PMB Ika Mardiyanti in Maret-May 2021 involved a sample of 100 obtained by simple random sampling. This study uses an analytic design with a cross-sectional design. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The results show that Asym. Sig. (2-tailed) obtained < (0.0001 < 0.05), this means that the Self Care Model in Midwifery Care through the Android Application is effective for increasing the ability of pregnant women in early detect risky pregnancies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: The research conducted to analyze the self-care model in midwifery care through the android application contributes to increasing the efforts of pregnant women to care for their care during pregnancy to prevent the dangers of pregnancy.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Many pregnant women and their families are lack to carry out the examination to detect earlier about highrisk pregnancies. Family empowerment models can improve the ability of families to early detection of pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the family empowerment model on the ability to detect early pregnancy at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study used an explanatory survey with a cross-sectional study approach and interventions of the family empowerment model on early detection ability of risk pregnancy. Sampling using the Probability sampling method with simple random sampling, a sample size of 100. Independent variables are interventions of the family empowerment model, while dependent variables of early detection ability of risk pregnancy during the covid-19 pandemic. Data collection instrument using questionnaires. The research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on variance or SEM-based components, known as Partial Least Squares (PLS). Results: The influence of personal factors, resource factors, cognitive behavioral factors, interpersonal factors, filial values, and commitments showed t-statistics > 1.96 and p-values <0.05. This means that there is a significant effect on all of these variables on family empowerment. The resulting coefficient is positive 0.080 so it can be said that better family empowerment tends to increase the ability of families in early detect high-risk pregnancies. That means there is a family empowerment model that makes participants feel more responsive, and alert, pay attention to self-care, and immediately check with health workers if there are danger signs. Conclusion: After being given the family empowerment model intervention almost all respondents were good in the ability to detect early pregnancy at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to increasing family involvement in intensive care for pregnant women to prevent pregnancy complications. © 2022, Sanglah General Hospital.
